Why choose The Album Lady?

Here at The Album Lady, Founder & Lead Designer, Jillian Mayonove has perfected her craft. She has been working in luxury events in NYC since 2010. Having received her bachelors degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and working in two of the top photography studios in New York City, she’s confident her skillset, expertise and customer service will give you the highest quality experience possible.

Who do you work with?

The Album Lady works with both individual clients as well as industry professionals.

Do you only create wedding albums?

Nope! Jillian’s created albums for weddings, engagements, mitzvahs, birthdays and family/maternity portrait sessions. She offers different sized albums for what may suit you best.

What is the price range for your albums?

Rates start at $725, and vary by album size and number of pages.

What’s included in the base rate?

Included in the base rate, you will receive the following:

  • Design Consultation to discuss your vision, the design process, album sizes and estimated page counts

  • Jillian will do the initial image selection. If you have a couple ‘must have’ images, please send her your list

  • She’ll curate the initial design within seven days & send it electronically to discuss possible changes

  • Her online proofing site will allow you to make any notes/request changes

  • Once you approve your design, she’ll send a color corrected version for final approval

  • Your album will go into production!

How do I get you my images?

Easy! Once you have received your images from your event or occasion, all you have to do is share your gallery link & password information. Jillian will need access to your the high-res files and she’ll take care of the rest!

Do I need to select my own images to include?

That’s what The Album Lady is here for! Receiving your wedding day images can be a bit overwhelming and Jillian’s here to take that stress away. She’ll select some of the best images from your day and from there, create your initial design.

Some clients prefer to include a short image list of their favorites. She’d love to know which photos mean the most to you!

How many images come in my book?

This is a hard question to answer! The average length of a wedding album is anywhere from 42-48 pages however is dependent on the length of your day, portraits taken and guest count. Most often times, a 40 page album has about 85-90 images included.

There is no set formula and each design is 100% different!

Does my album need to follow the timeline of my day?

Not necessarily. In order to tell the best visual story, some things may get moved around. For example, if you took family photos before your wedding portraits, we may swap the order for continuity. Changes can always be made during the revision phase.

How do revisions work?

The Album Lady uses an online proofing site which allows you to make notes and request changes as well as approve spreads if they’re good to go.

Should you prefer to discuss changes over the phone or over a video call, Jillian’s happy to do so!
